Hi! I’m Becca. I’m a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania.
My journey into the world of therapy began with my own life experiences. For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt drawn to this field, driven by a passion for helping people improve their quality of life and relationships within the world. It took a winding path of introspection, growth, and my own therapy to confront the hard questions I now help others explore.
Because of this, I deeply value authenticity in session. Therapy should be a space that balances warmth and empathy with the right amount of challenge to empower you to reach your goals; but hey, that’s my job - not yours! My goal is to be more than just a therapist; I strive to be someone you find relatable, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in your growth. I know therapy can sometimes feel transactional, but I aim to make it feel tangible and personal.
On day one, I’ll introduce you to two foundational rules in my practice:
1. You never have to apologize unless you intentionally cause harm.
2. You’re allowed to tell me I’m wrong.
This is your space to grow, not one for judgment or criticism. If I were to sum up my overarching goal for every client, it would be this: to help you release the weight of guilt and shame so you can discover and embrace your authentic self. I won’t force you to figure everything out on your own, nor will I sugarcoat the hard truths. Instead, I approach therapy as a collaboration—you are the expert on your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you.
I bring my full self into our space, quirks and all. I’m a dog-loving therapist who believes therapy can be an invaluable tool for your life journey. When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me spending time with my dog, watching football (go Birds!), at the gym, cooking or baking, or enjoying the outdoors.
Background:
I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I received the Provost Award for Academic Excellence and Potential to Contribute to the Field. I am board-certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). This credential represents a high standard of education, examination, supervision, experience, and ethical commitment, in addition to my licensure. My professional journey includes working in private practice, community mental health settings, and multiple school environments. These experiences sparked my passion for supporting individuals with neurodiverse profiles, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Before entering clinical practice, I also worked in advocacy roles for young survivors worldwide, further fueling my dedication to empowering young adults from diverse backgrounds.
I look forward to helping you or your child on the journey toward growth, authenticity, and self-discovery.
